For this week's project, I decided to make a dual sided game controller. I tried to code a game to go with the controller, but I ran out of time. Materials: Cork (yoga brick) 4x arduino joysticks cardboard 4x screws 4x bolts First I started by cutting my cork block with the band saw in half. I then cut that piece of cork in half to create 2 equally sized pieces. I then used the band saw to round out the edges of both the equally sized cork pieces. Next, I used the drill press to drill a hole in center of each equally sized cork piece. Then, I used the drill press to drill 4 holes, one for each screw to go through. I then used the sander to round the edges. I then horizontally cut each of the 2 equally sized cork pieces in half (like 2 hamburger buns) and cut the bottom to form a divet for the joystick to fit into. After, I cut 2 equally sized pieces of cardboard to house the arduino (if the game was built it would need an arduino). Next, I put the screws through the corresponding holes in the cork pieces and cardboard. Here is the finished product! Front: Back: Side:
